About Laura Lynn Reagan

I am Laura and I just recently graduated from Lincoln Memorial University Duncan School of Law and passed the Tennessee Bar Exam.  I am so very excited to enter this new adventure in my life and I couldn’t imagine doing it anywhere but at Stern Family Law.  I have known Jeff and Donna for close to twenty years and as soon as I mentioned going to law school to Jeff, he invited me to the team.  My primary focus and areas of practice will include Child Welfare, Dependency & Neglect, Termination of Parental Right/Adoptions, Divorce and Mediations. 
My husband Sam and I were both raised primarily in Sevier County (although his early childhood was spent all over the world with his father in the Marine Corp).  We have three grown sons who we are so very proud of, a daughter-in-law that we adore, and a granddaughter who lights up our world.  I attended Bethel University where I received my Bachelor’s of Science degree in Criminal Justice and Master’s of Arts degree in Mediation and Conflict Resolution.
While I am new to being an attorney, I am not new to serving others.  I am currently serving in the Tennessee Air Force National Guard where I help Airmen progress in their military education.  It is a dream of mine to become a member of the Air Force JAG Corp so look for updates on that.  Prior to law school I worked in law enforcement from 2000-2017 (I probably taught some of your kids DARE).  I loved being a police officer so much and that’s where the spark to help children ignited.  While working as a school resource officer I had many encounters with children who needed help, and I provided that help to the extent that I could, but I wanted to do more—and thus began the journey of becoming a lawyer.
As I said, I am so exited to enter this new adventure at Stern Family Law.  I cannot wait to see where it takes me and how many lives I can impact in my service.
